SANKARI is a short film realized in 2019 by a group of 10 exchange students from 7 different nationalities that studied in the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Finland). With a very low budget, we did our best to make a war genre short film, talking about the meaning of bravery and heroism. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Synopsis: 1944. During the Continuation war. Erno, a young Finnish soldier, wants to prove himself that he can be a hero like his father before him.
